Come to class ready to flow!! We will meet at River Bend Park on the Deschutes River and get our gear. After a short safety talk and introductions, we will hit the water with a warm up paddle up stream. Then we will find a spot to gather and anchor our boards. We will tie off the paddles and get settled into to feeling the sensation of floating and breathing. Over the next hour we will move through the asana on the board focusing on moving from the core and finding our balance and sometimes our edge. This practice can be challenging so many poses are modified versions of what you may practice on land. Our movement will be slow, guided by our breadth and intuition. I hope you’ll join us!! Sarah Fink (Laufer) is a former professional dancer and has been practicing yoga since 1999. She was a whitewater river guide on the Arkansas River and throughout the Northwest. Stand up paddling and SUP yoga became a natural next step when she obtained her 200hr RYT with Tiffany Cruikshank and Yoga Medicine in 2011 and SUP Yoga Teacher certification through Bliss Paddle Yoga in May 2015. Sarah has been teaching SUP and SUP yoga for 2 years and co-hosts yoga retreats down in Mexico with Good Tiger Yoga.
